favorite moments, actors, quotes, scenes and trivia from one of the most loved movies inspired by William Shakespeare's 'Taming of the Shrew'. This movie has a high re-watchability and represents everything that Couch Potato Theater is all about.

10 Things I Hate About You is a 1999 American romantic comedy film directed by Gil Junger and starring Julia Stiles, Heath Ledger, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Larisa Oleynik. The screenplay, written by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, is a modernization of William Shakespeare's late-16th-century comedy The Taming of the Shrew, retold in a late-1990s American high school setting. In the story, new student Cameron (Gordon-Levitt) is smitten with Bianca (Oleynik) and, in order to get around her father's strict rules on dating, attempts to get bad boy Patrick (Ledger) to date Bianca's ill-tempered sister, Kat (Stiles). The film is titled after a poem written by Kat about her bittersweet romance with Patrick.

Clue Movie Synopsis:

Based on the popular board game, this comedy begins at a dinner party hosted by Mr. Boddy (Lee Ving), where he admits to blackmailing his visitors. These guests, who have been given aliases, are Mrs. Peacock (Eileen Brennan), Miss Scarlet (Lesley Ann Warren), Mr. Green (Michael McKean), professor Plum (Christopher Lloyd), Mrs. White (Madeline Kahn) and Col. Mustard (Martin Mull). When Boddy turns up murdered, all are suspects, and together they try to figure out who is the killer.

Join our motley crew of detectives (or are they the murderer?!?!?) as we investigate the chaos, the comedy and they mystery of CLUE!

but a film that also has found a huge fan appreciation on video. This film comes from a story from one of the most celebrated authors of the 20th Century. Welcome to Couch Potato Theater: The 13th Warrior (1999).

The 13th Warrior is a 1999 American historical fiction action film based on Michael Crichton's 1976 novel Eaters of the Dead, which is a loose retelling of the tale of Beowulf combined with Ahmad ibn Fadlan's historical account of the Volga Vikings. It stars Antonio Banderas as Ahmad ibn Fadlan, as well as Diane Venora and Omar Sharif. It was directed by John McTiernan. Crichton directed some reshoots uncredited. The film was produced by McTiernan, Crichton, and Ned Dowd, with Andrew G. Vajna, James Biggam and Ethan Dubrow as executive producers.

Plot Synopsis:

A man, having fallen in love with the wrong woman, is sent by the sultan himself on a diplomatic mission to a distant land as an ambassador. Stopping at a Viking village port to restock on supplies, he finds himself unwittingly embroiled in a quest to banish a mysterious threat in a distant Viking land.

Batman Forever is a 1995 superhero film directed by Joel Schumacher and produced by Tim Burton, based on the DC Comics character Batman. A stand-alone sequel to the 1992 film Batman Returns and the third installment of Warner Bros.'s initial Batman film series, it stars Val Kilmer replacing Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne and Batman, alongside Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey, Nicole Kidman, Chris O'Donnell, Michael Gough, and Pat Hingle.

Batman Forever Plot Synopsis:

The Dark Knight of Gotham City confronts a dastardly duo: Two-Face and the Riddler. Formerly District Attorney Harvey Dent, Two-Face incorrectly believes Batman caused the courtroom accident which left him disfigured on one side; he has unleashed a reign of terror on the good people of Gotham. Edward Nygma, computer-genius and former employee of millionaire Bruce Wayne, is out to get the philanthropist; as The Riddler he perfects a device for draining information from all the brains in Gotham, including Bruce Wayne's knowledge of his other identity. Batman/Wayne is/are the love focus of Dr. Chase Meridan. Former circus acrobat Dick Grayson, his family killed by Two-Face, becomes Wayne's ward and Batman's new partner Robin the Boy Wonder.

Join Kevin, Kyle and Hayley as they take a look back at this first of two controversial Batman films directed by Joel Schumacher. A movie that changed its Batman, and overall look, style and tone of the Batman franchise from the previous two. We also discuss the Bat nipple controversy. Over time Batman Forever has become a fan favorite for many and a guilty pleasure movie for many more. Kevin, Kyle and Hayley discuss why this Batman film is one of their favorites and represents everything that Couch Potato Theater is all about. We also discuss and pay tribute to director Joel Schumacher, who recently passed away. We talk about his directing legacy.

Yes there is a NEW segment here on the clash as Kyle fresh off the end of Tax Season and Kevin who is always doing the Kevin thing build their own playlists using songs only on the soundtracks from 80's films, time to get some music into the Clash!

In news we remember two who we lost recently in Kelly Preston and Grant Imahara from Mythbusters fame. We also rejoice over the announcement that Ready Player Two is coming (Come on Mr. Wheaton you have to do the audiobook) also discussing the latest in streaming news and what Charlize Theron wants to see happen with a certain Blonde and a Mr. Wick.

Punisher: War Zone is a 2008 vigilante action thriller film based on the Marvel Comics character the Punisher, directed by Lexi Alexander. The film is a reboot that follows the war waged by vigilante Frank Castle (Ray Stevenson) on crime and corruption, in particular on the disfigured mob boss known as Billy "Jigsaw" Russotti (Dominic West), rather than a sequel to 2004's The Punisher. It is the third feature film adaptation of The Punisher, the second reboot thereof and the first of two films to be produced under the Marvel Entertainment and Marvel Knights production banner, which focuses on films for mature audiences. Punisher: War Zone was released in North America by Lionsgate on December 5, 2008,

Punisher: War Zone (2008) Plot Synopsis:

Frank Castle, the ex-military man whose family was killed by criminals, who became a vigilante known as the Punisher, goes after a whole mob family and gets everyone except enforcer Billy Russoti. He tracks Russoti down and chases him into a vat that is used for crushing bottles. Frank turns on the crusher hoping it would take care of him but it doesn't. He survives but sustains very severe injuries that even with plastic surgery his face looks like a jigsaw puzzle. So he decides to adopt the name Jigsaw. Frank who killed one of Russoti's people who unknown to him is an undercover Fed, decides to pack it in. But when he learns Russoti didn't die and is looking for the money he entrusted to the Fed and will go looking for it at his home which means his family is in danger. So Frank tries to save them. But Russoti wants revenge on Frank so he breaks out his brother who is so crazed that he is committed to an asylum, to deal with him.

Join Kevin, Lee and Aaron as they take a look back at this fan favorite Punisher film that although it failed at the box office, it was a true representation of the Punisher character that is a great homage to the comics. This Punisher film is so rewatchable for its beautiful violence and creative color pallet that it represents everything that Couch Potato Theater is all about.

The events began Friday evening, March 6 and ran through Sunday, March 8th. The events kicked off with a welcome party on Friday night, then panels, autographs, photos, auction, videos, and a musical party on Saturday and Sunday. The organizer of the event was PWFC President Rene Averett, and the MC of the weekend was Shawn Dempsey.

Kevin, your Blood of Kings host attended the event and got a couple of great interviews. In this special episode of the Blood of Kings Highlander Podcast, Kevin interviews the guest of honor himself METHOS, Doctor PETER WINGFIELD with special guest JIM BYRNES (Joe Dawson)! Con Air Plot Synopsis:

Cameron Poe, a highly decorated United States Army Ranger, came home to Alabama to his wife, Tricia, only to run into a few drunken regulars where Tricia works. Cameron unknowingly kills one of the drunks and is sent to a federal penitentiary for involuntary manslaughter for seven years. Cameron becomes eligible for parole and can now go home to his wife and daughter. Unfortunately, Cameron has to share a prison airplane with some of the country's most dangerous criminals, who took control of the plane and are now planning to escape the country. Cameron has to find a way to stop them while playing along. Meanwhile, United States Marshal Vincent Larkin is trying to help Cameron get free and stop the criminals, including Cyrus "The Virus" Grissom.

Def Leppard formed in 1977 in Sheffield and is considered part of the new wave of British heavy metal movement. Since 1992, the band has consisted of Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Savage (bass, backing vocals), Rick Allen (drums, backing vocals), Phil Collen (guitars, backing vocals), and Vivian Campbell (guitars, backing vocals), which has been the band's longest running line-up. They are one of only five rock bands with two original studio albums selling more than ten million copies in the US. The band were ranked No. 31 in VH1's "100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock" and ranked No. 70 in "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". Def Leppard were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.

Kevin and Adam discuss the origin of Def Leppard in the late 1970's and early 1980's which include their break out years with MTV in the 80's and early 90's. They also discuss the longevity of Def Leppard and how they are more popular than ever now. Kevin also has a Rock N' Roll T-Shirt check with Adam and and discuss the controversial TV movie "Hysteria - The Def Leppard Story".

On March 6-8, 2020 The Peter Wingfield Fan Club (PWFC) hosted the "PWFC Friendship Con with Peter Wingfield and Jim Byrnes at the LAX Los Angeles Marriott Hotel in California. The events began Friday evening, March 6 and ran through Sunday, March. The events kicked off with a welcome party on Friday night, then panels, autographs, photos, auction, videos, and a musical party on Saturday and Sunday. The organizer of the event was PWFC President Rene Averett, and the MC of the weekend was Shawn Dempsey.

Kevin, your Blood of Kings host attended the event and got a couple of great interviews. In this special episode of the Blood of Kings Highlander Podcast, Kevin interviews Highlander Television Show head writer and creative consultant David Abramowitz! But that's not all! We were also joined by METHOS himself as Peter Wingfield also sat in on the interview, enjoy!

Join us for this very special edition of Couch Potato Theater as we look back and celebrate one of the best comedies in the last 25 years, TOMMY BOY. Tommy Boy is a 1995 road comedy film directed by Peter Segal, written by Bonnie and Terry Turner, produced by Lorne Michaels, and starring former Saturday Night Live castmates and close friends Chris Farley and David Spade. This was the first of many movies that Peter Segal has filmed with former SNL castmates. The film was shot primarily in Toronto and Los Angeles under the working title "Rocky Road".

TOMMY BOY Plot Synopsis:

Tommy Callahan Jr. is a slow-witted, clumsy guy who recently graduated college after attending for seven years. His father, Big Tom Callahan, owns an auto parts factory in Ohio. When Tommy arrives back home, he finds he has a position at the factory waiting for him. His dad also introduces Tommy to the new brake pad division of the factory and to Tommy's soon-to-be stepmother, Beverly, and her son Paul. But when Big Tom dies, the factory threatens to go under unless the new brake pads are to be sold. Therefore, Tommy must go on the road to sell them, along with the assistance of Richard, Big Tom's right-hand man. Will Tommy save the company, or will the factory, and the town, go under?
