In this episode of Blood of Kings: A Highlander Podcast, your hosts Kevin and Lee discuss the merchandise of one of the many Highlander Store catalogs that was mailed to fans in the 1990's. Ryan Jost, a fellow member of the Blood of Kings Highlander Fandom Facebook Group, generously donated his large collection of original Highlander Store catalogs, postcards and assorted mailings. Kevin started digitally scanning many of these catalogs, and posted the pictures of one them on Blood of Kings Facebook Page. Kevin & Lee discus this early "Highlander Store" catalog and the many fan favorite collectibles and forgotten gems showcased in it. Kevin & Lee also read the comments from the Blood of Kings Highlander fan members who shared their own personal stories of purchasing the many very cool items from these catalogs.

Union Federation Episode 83: Star Trek Discovery Season 3 Sanctuary
It is time to leave space dock and the Union Federation's crew is ready to bring you their look at the latest episode of Star Trek Discovery: Sanctuary. He's back - the man, the myth the legend...the baddest bounty hunter in the Galaxy Far, Far Away and the OG Mandalorian himself - BOBA FETT! And what a triumphant return it was in Chapter 14 of The Mandalorian The Tragedy. Boba's not the only one who's back this week as Fennec Shand makes her return, with an upgrade and the two join Din Djarrin and Grogu on Tython to protect the little guy while he meditates at the seeing stone. But our intrepid band is dogged by Stormtroopers and even Dark Troopers as Moff Gideon will stop at nothing to capture Grogu - including a heinous act of destruction that will echo down the eons of Star Wars fandom. The Hair Metal Podcast presents a special tribute episode. The Rock world lost a legendary, inventive and worldwide beloved guitarist and musician. Eddie Van Halen died at age 65 on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, after a long battle with throat cancer. Eddie Van Halen formed the band Van Halen with his brother Alex Van Halen.
Van Halen formed in Pasadena California in 1972, and are credited with "restoring hard rock to the forefront of the music scene". Van Halen was known for its energetic live shows, and for the work of its acclaimed lead guitarist, Eddie Van Halen. Van Halen was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2007.
Kevin and his guests discuss their immediate reactions to the passing of Eddie Van Halen including the reaction of fellow celebrity musicians, TV and movie entertainers. They continue to discuss their Van Halen fandom, the impact that Eddie Van Halen had on pop culture, and their own fascinating personal stories of seeing Eddie Van Halen in concert. Kevin also reads comments from several Van Halen Fans from around the world. The death of Eddie Van Halen effected music fans everywhere.
