Blood Of Kings HIGHLANDER Podcast EP.144: Highlander 1986 35th Anniversary Celebration Part 2. Scotland U.K. Filming Locations Revisited.
2021 Celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the original 1986 Highlander film. In Part 2, of several episodes, your Blood of Kings Highlander Podcast co-host Kevin Reitzel welcomes back Erin Gill. Kevin & and his fiancée Erin both revisit their first time, separately, visiting a few of the Scotland & London area Highlander filming locations in 2016. After their separate 2016 trips, Erin and Kevin connected afterwards and both met in person, in London shortly after.
Kevin & Erin then traveled together, back to Scotland and London area in 2018, to visit as many Highlander 1986 filming locations they could. Which included the Highlander Beach, the Holy Ground Church and the famous and majestic Eilean Donan Castle which was the Clan Macleod castle in the original 1986 Highlander film. All of the pictures and videos of this 2018 trip can be found on the Blood of Kings Highlander Fandom Facebook Page.

2021 Celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the original 1986 Highlander film. In Part 1, of several episodes, your Blood of Kings Highlander Podcast hosts Kevin Reitzel and Lee Fillingsness will dive deep the many aspects and influences that the original Highlander film. Including the influence that Highlander 1986 has made on pop culture, movie history, Scottish heritage and the Highlander universe and its devoted fandom.
In Part 1 of this Highlander 1986 35th Anniversary Celebration, Kevin and Lee take a special deep dive look into the original film and the impact that it has on us as fans, it's history, trivia, behind the scenes, and its stars and crew. Highlander is a 1986 fantasy action-adventure film directed by Russell Mulcahy and based on a story by Gregory Widen. It stars Christopher Lambert, Roxanne Hart, Clancy Brown, and Sean Connery. The film chronicles the climax of an ages-old war between immortal warriors, depicted through interwoven past and present-day storylines.
Highlander Plot:
Connor MacLeod (Christopher Lambert) is born in the Scottish Highlands in the 16th century. After reviving from a fatal wound, MacLeod is found by swordsman Ramírez (Sean Connery) who explains they and others were born immortal, invincible unless beheaded. Immortals wage a secret war, fighting each other until the last few remaining will meet at the Gathering to fight for the Prize. In 1985, the Gathering is finally happening in New York City and MacLeod must make sure the Prize is not won by his oldest enemy, the murderous Kurgan (Clancy Brown).

Blood Of Kings HIGHLANDER Podcast: Remembering Peter Davis, Highlander Producer & CEO of Davis Panzer Productions.
The Highlander Universe lost a legend in February 2021, Highlander producer Peter S. Davis passed away at age 79. Peter Davis with producing partner Bill Panzer produced original 1986 film Highlander that made Christopher Lambert a star, and also created a franchise that launched several sequels, television offshoots and video games. Peter Davis produced other features including The Death Collector (1976), starring Joe Pesci in his first credited role; Stunts (1977), starring Robert Forster in an early New Line Cinema film; The Osterman Weekend (1983), director Sam Peckinpah's final feature; and Cutting Class (1989), featuring a young Brad Pitt.
On this special episode of Blood of Kings Highlander Podcast, hosts Kevin Reitzel and Lee Fillingsness discuss the legacy of Peter Davis including his other films, and his contribution to the creation of the Highlander franchise, loved by millions of fans. They also read a special message from Kareem Dimashkie, the Director of New Media Davis/Panzer Productions, of Peter's leadership and mentorship from someone who worked with Peter. RIP Peter, thank you for everything, you will be missed.

There’s a special place in the hearts of all Doctor Who fans for the Doctor’s most diminutive of companions: the remarkable, electronic, robotic dog K9. The appeal of this character both at the Doctor’s feet and in his own right is undeniable and evergreen!
So popular was he that long before Captain Jack bounded into the Torchwood hub, Class assembled or Sarah Jane moved to Bannerman Road? It was K9 who first secured a commission from the BBC for a spin-off to our favorite show back in 1981, pet project of producer John Nathan-Turner. Broadcasting over Christmas that year, thrilling and chilling generations of lucky British families. Or at least those who’s transmitter hadn’t gone down that evening!

You Don't Nomi is a 2019 American documentary film that discovers the history of the 1995 erotic drama film Showgirls. The documentary is directed by Jeffrey McHale and it features the original cast of the film (in archive footage). It premiered on 27 April 2019 at the Tribeca Film Festival, and upon release it was met with positive feedback from the critics. The film was nominated for Ad Hoc Docs Competition category at the Cleveland International Film Festival.

Including the chess game between Vance and Osyraa, Burnham doing her best version of Die Hard, Stamets having one of the greatest emotional scenes in Star Trek History and the Spear Data being the Ghost in the Shell.
In subspace signals we discuss the ready room and a brief disruption happening in The Orville's quantum drive that will hold up filming for a short time.
