Blood of Kings 106: Highlander Season 4: See It or Skip It? Part 1: Seacouver Episodes w/ Guest John Mosby

Highlander Season 4: See It or Skip It? Part 1: The Seacouver Episodes!

Your Blood of Kings Highlander Podcast host Kevin Reitzel is very excited to discuss the Highlander Television Series again at length and in detail! Kevin welcomes a very special guest...JOHN MOSBY, author of his book FEARFUL SYMMETRY: The Essential Guide to All Things Highlander! John will join Kevin in this weeks episode of a very special look at Highlander SEASON FOUR with fresh eyes and a fresh perspective and weigh-in, per episode, on whether you should SEE IT - OR SKIP IT!

We always recommend new fans to Highlander to watch all episodes, but for a re-watch, we have our suggestions on what to See, or Skip. This is PART ONE of our review. We cover the SEACOUVER first half of season four, from episodes such as:

-  Homeland
-  Double Eagle
-  The Colonel
-  Timeless
-  Something Wicked

There are several episodes that changed everything in Highlander Season four, and many more that also added to the wonderful Highlander mythology.

Again, we would like to thank JOHN MOSBY for allowing us to read the Season four episode summaries from his book FEARFUL SYMMETRY: The Essential Guide to All Things Highlander and you should have this with you as we are evaluating these episodes. You can find FEARFUL SYMMETRY: The Essential Guide to All Things Highlander at Amazon.com. Please support John and this book because it really is the ultimate resource for Highlander fans.

This particular fun podcasting format was inspired by Kevin's friends Bill Smith and Dan Davidson who on their podcast TREKGEEKS, review Star Trek seasons in this very same manner and advise to their listeners regarding which episodes are worth their viewing time and those that can be set aside.

We would LOVE to hear from all of you out there in the Blood of Kings listening audience to see if you agree or disagree with our list on this episode so please make sure to get in touch with us!

Hair Metal Podcast 09: MARK KNIGHT Interview - Former BANG TANGO Guitarist & Solo Artist in MARK KNIGHT & THE UNSUNG HEROES

Welcome to the Fandom Podcast Network's special presentation of... THE HAIR METAL PODCAST!

The Hair Metal Podcast cover bands that reached several levels of popularity and notoriety during the mid to late 1980's "Hair Metal" explosion. We take an in-depth look into the bands that defined the style and sound of Hair Metal, and many other bands that may or may not be categorized as Hair metal, but did reach some popularity during the Hair Metal rush of the 1980's.

Kevin Reitzel is your host for The Hair Metal Podcast. Kevin's special guest for this Hair Metal Podcast episode, is Mark Knight, former BANG TANGO Guitarist, and now solo artist, as singer and guitarist for his newest band Mark Knight and The Unsung Heroes!

Bang Tango was one of those bands that were on the edge of approaching super stardom during the Hair Metal scene in the late 80's. Bang Tango was formed in 1988 in Los Angeles by guitarist Mark Knight and bassist Kyle Kyle in 1988. Knight recruited a second guitarist Kyle Stevens. Soon after vocalist Joe Leste joined the band as its front man which led to Leste's childhood friend, Tigg Ketler, completing the 5 piece line up as Bang Tango's drummer.

Bang Tango's initial release, a live EP titled Live Injection came out in early 1989 leading up to the release of their Howard Benson produced full-length debut Psycho Café which topped off at number 58 on the Billboard top 200 chart. The music video for the single Someone Like You was a popular staple on early 90's MTV programming such as Dial MTV and Headbanger's Ball. A video was also made for the single Breaking Up a Heart of Stone. The band would tour extensively during this period with the likes of Cheap Trick, LA Guns, Ratt, and Bulletboys. Bang Tango's next album releases was Dancing on Coals in 1991, then followed up by Love After Death in 1993, which never was released by MCA because the band was dropped by the label.

Mark Knight is now the singer, songwriter and guitarist with his current band, Mark Knight & The Unsung Heroes! For more information, check them out here:
https://www.markknightandtheunsungheroes.com/

Kevin is honored to have Mark Knight on this special podcast to discuss his music career both past and present! Here are many topics that Mark will discuss with Kevin:

- Mark's early musical influences, his background in music, and playing the guitar.
- What bands did Mark play with prior to Bang Tango.
- Mark talks about how he formed band Bang Tango with former member Kyle Kyle.
- Mark looks back on early days of Bang Tango, and then finally getting a record deal and recording Bang Tango's first studio album Psycho Café
- Mark's experience touring with Bang Tango in support of the album Psycho Café, and what was it like living through the very popular metal scene in the late 80's and early 90's.
- Mark's musical direction in the late 90's after Bang Tango and through the 2000's.
- Mark Knight then discusses his current project: Mark Knight and the Unsung Heroes.
- Plus many other fun and surprising topics!

Kevin would like to thank his very special guest... Mark Knight!

Please enjoy this special episode of the Fandom Podcast Network's, The Hair Metal Podcast! Remember...every rose has its thorn, and on a steel horse... we will ride! HAIR METAL LIVES! Rock on everyone!

Blood of Kings 105: Highlander Character Profile: Amanda w/ Special Guest Shan O’Connor!

Blood of Kings 105: Highlander Character Profile: Amanda w/ Special Guest Shan O’Connor!

April 9, 2019
Blood of Kings 105: Highlander Character Profile: Amanda w/ Special Guest Shan O'Connor!

Your Blood of Kings host Kevin Reitzel would like to welcome special guest and fellow Highlander aficionado, Shan O'Connor!
Shan is a big Highlander fan, and her knowledge of Highlander is extensive. Shan is also a big supporter of Blood of Kings. Blood of Kings host Kevin Reitzel first met Shan in person at the 2017 Highlander TV Show Worldwide 25th Anniversary Convention in Los Angeles California.

In this special episode of Blood of Kings, Kevin and Shan do a Highlander Character Profile of fan favorite Amanda! The character of Amanda was first introduced in the season one episode called "Lady and the Tiger", which aired April 24th, 1993.

Amanda was born around the year AD 820 in the Abbey of St. Anne in Normandy, France. Despite being poor and uneducated, she was intelligent, and knew she would have to steal if she wanted to eat. Her first death was in 850 during the Black Plague, when she was beaten to death for stealing food from a plague-ridden residence. Her body was to be cast into a bonfire, but she was rescued by Rebecca Horne. Rebecca became her mentor and friend. An Immortal and master thief who steals for both profit and thrills, Amanda has a reputation for being a liar and using people to achieve her financial and pilfering goals. Amanda has been many things for Duncan MacLeod over the centuries: a source of both amusement and frustration, a friend, an annoyance, a confidant, and on more than one occasion, a lover.  Join us for this ongoing Highlander Blood of Kings Podcast Character Profile series.

Here are some of the other Highlander topics that Kevin discusses with Shan:

- The origin of Shan's Highlander Fandom

- Shan's retrospective of the 25th Anniversary Highlander Worldwide Convention in 2018.

- Shan's favorite and least favorite Highlander movies & TV episodes.

- Shan's take on the future of Highlander and the new movie.

- What are Shan's OTHER favorite fandoms, movies and TV Shows.

- Shan's attended the SoCal Swordfight 2019 event, as a spectator with her HEMA group, Mordhau Historical Combat out of Mesa Az. Where she got to meet up with fellow Blood of Kings member Norman Lao!

Kevin would like to thank his special guest Shan O'Connor for being on the Blood of Kings Highlander Podcast, and for being one of the many leaders of Highlander fandom!

Hair Metal Podcast 08: Motley Crue's THE DIRT: Movie Reaction!

For this very special episode we're going to discuss THE DIRT, the new Netflix movie about the true story of Motley Crue, based on the book of the same name!

Kevin Reitzel is your Hair Metal Podcast Host.  Kevin has two special guests for this Hair Metal Podcast episode, please welcome...Johnny K. & Erin Gill!

The Dirt is a 2019 American biographical musical comedy-drama film directed by Jeff Tremaine from a screenplay by Rich Wilkes, about glam metal band Mötley Crüe. The film stars Douglas Booth, Colson Baker, Daniel Webber and Iwan Rheon. Talks of a Mötley Crüe biopic began as early as 2006, when Paramount Pictures and MTV Films purchased the rights to the book The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band by Neil Strauss. However the project then languished in development hell for over a decade, going through numerous directors and cast members before Netflix purchased the rights in March 2017. Filming began around New Orleans in February 2018. The Dirt was released digitally on Netflix on March 22, 2019.

Kevin, Johnny and Erin discuss many topics about Motley Crue's THE DIRT movie on Netflix:
- First Impressions
- The Director & Cast.
- Trivia on the movie and behind the scenes.
- Our personal experiences on meeting and seeing Motley Crue.
- Make up and costumes.
- The Music & Soundtrack.
- Did they do the book The Dirt justice?
- 10 Things & People that the movie The Dirt Left out.
- Our Favorite scenes, moments and lines.
- How Does The Dirt compare to other Band Movie Biopics?

Kevin would like to thank his very special guests...Johnny K. and Erin Gill!

Please enjoy this special episode of the Fandom Podcast Network's, The Hair Metal Podcast! Remember...every rose has its thorn, and on a steel horse... we will ride! HAIR METAL LIVES! Rock on everyone!

March 20, 2019
Hair Metal Podcast 07: Interview Special w/ Guest DREW FORTIER - Director of ATTACK OF LIFE: THE BANG TANGO MOVIE

Kevin's special guest for this Hair Metal Podcast episode, is Drew Fortier, Director of "ATTACK OF LIFE: THE BANG TANGO MOVIE"!

Soon after vocalist Joe Leste' joined the band as its front man which led to Leste's childhood friend, Tigg Ketler, completing the 5 piece line up as Bang Tango's drummer.

In June 2011, the band had met Drew Fortier, for whom they offered to shoot a studio documentary while they recorded their then new record Pistol Whipped in the Bible Belt. This project would then become expanded upon once Fortier had been put in contact with previous members of the band as well as its founding members. Over the course of 4 years Fortier would turn the project into a feature length documentary titled "Attack of Life: The Bang Tango Movie". The film features interviews with all original members of the band as well as most of the players who have performed in the band since its inception.

Reviews of the film were positive. The general consensus is that despite its low budget, the film still manages to get its point across in an unbiased, artistic, and engaging manner while being able to appeal to not only fans of the band or genre, but to anyone not familiar with Bang Tango.

You can find Drew Fortier's movie "Attack of Life: The Bang Tango Movie" on YouTube here:

You can find Drew's Book "Dark, Depressing, and Hilarious: My Bittersweet Journey In and Out of the Music Business" here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/1718106394/ref=cm_sw_r_em_api_i_c_c.NGCbJBHPFTN

Kevin is honored to have and his guest Drew on this special podcast to discuss Kevin's favorite band of all time, and Drew's movie "ATTACK OF LIFE: THE BANG TANGO MOVIE" Kevin and Drew discuss many topics in this episode:

- Drew's musical influences.
- What bands Drew played with.
- How did Drew end up playing with Bang Tango.
- What inspired Drew to do a documentary about Bang Tango.
- Drew's experience interviewing the original members and the guests and fellow musicians speaking on the behalf of Bang Tango.
- What was the most challenging and rewarding parts of making the Attack of Life: The Bang Tango Movie.
- Drew talks about the Bang Tango super fan that ended up singing the whole set for the band one night.
- What are Drew's favorite Bang Tango songs to listen too and play live.

Kevin would like to thank his very special guest... DREW FORTIER!

Culture Clash Marvel News Flash

It has been a HUGE week to say the least in the MCU, with Captain Marvel dominating the box office, a new Avengers: Endgame trailer out and the biggest news of all James Gunn is back with the MCU and has been re-instated as the director for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.  Kevin and Kyle just could not wait until the next Culture Clash to talk about all of this, so join them as they discuss the return and what might have been the story behind it and what it might mean.  The Endgame and what we saw in the trailer and what is next for the MCU, and the Captain who will be taking the lead of the MCU going forward.  Ok true believers let's do this thing!

DiscoVille Episode 043: The Orville S02 E07 - “Deflectors”

DiscoVille Episode 043: The Orville S02 E07 - "Deflectors"

Welcome to DiscoVille where we discuss both Star Trek DISCOvery AND The OrVILLE here on the Fandom Podcast Network. On this show we take an in-depth look at each of these shows and discover that both of them can co-exist in today's fandom...as they introduce us to fresh, new and exciting stories, characters, galactic destinations and so much more!

This week the crew of the DiscoVille takes a look at The Orville S02 E07 - "Deflectors"

Kevin, Amy, Hayley and Kyle discuss many topics for the episode "Deflectors".

- First reactions and some episode trivia

- New and returning characters, including the Bruce Willis voiced Groogen,  The Katrudian "flower alien".

- Main plot and sub plot reactions. The ship's deflectors upgrade leads to conflict between the Moclan culture and the crew. Locar tells Talla that he’s attracted to her (which is unexpected, since Moclan’s are an all male species). Some, Locar says, are attracted to females, but they’re not allowed to say out of fear of imprisonment.

- Klyden's bigotry and judgmental attitudes. The Moclan's society reflects this.

- Our favorite scenes, quotes, and other episode observations.

In subspace signals we discuss:

- Will The Orville be renewed for Season 3?Operation Orville Pickle Delivery is Launched! (Via The Orville Reddit)

- Fox's 'The Orville' Flies Into Comics This July.

- Creating the Starfleet 2256 Jacket. Volante Design leader designer takes fans behind the creation of the company's new Discovery-inspired        jacket. http://www.startrek.com/news/creating-starfleet-2256-jacket- Fans responses to the recent episodes of The Orville and Star Trek Discovery.

Blood of Kings 103: Interview With Highlander Author JONATHAN MELVILLE!

Your Blood of Kings host Kevin Reitzel would like to welcome special guest, author of his upcoming book on the 1986 Highlander film, Jonathan Melville!!
Jonathan Melville is a big Highlander fan, and his  knowledge of the original 1986 Highlander movie is extensive. In this special episode of Blood of Kings, Kevin interviews Jonathan Melville about his new book about the original 1986 Highlander movie, which he hopefully plans to release towards the end of 2019.

Kevin met up with Jonathan in his hometown of Edinburg Scotland in July of 2018, while Kevin was touring Highlander filming locations. At the time Kevin first interviewed Jonathan about his upcoming book. In this new interview Kevin discusses with Jonathan about the progress of his book, his recent interviews and teases new information that will be included in this awesome new book.

Here are some of the Highlander topics that Kevin discusses with Jonathan:

- The origin of Jonathan's Highlander Fandom

- Jonathan's update on his 1986 Highlander book.

        - How close are you to completing it? When do you expect to release it?

        - Most recent interviews?

        - Any big surprises?

        - What was the most difficult interview to schedule and obtain?

- Jonathan's other favorite Highlander movies, TV episodes, books etc.

- Jonathan's take on the future of Highlander and the new movie or possible TV series. Does he want it to have the same characters from the original 1986 movie, or take a different approach?

- What are Jonathan's OTHER favorite fandoms, movies and TV Shows.

Kevin would like to thank his special guest Jonathan Melville for being on the Blood Of Kings Highlander Podcast, and for promoting his upcoming book about the original 1986 Highlander movie, here with us!

Welcome to the Culture Clash your home for Fandom News, Reviews and whatever crazy we can come up with!  In this weeks show Kevin and Kyle are a bit all over the map as they talk Captain Marvel expectations, why we are loving The Orville, the new Game of Thrones trailer, possible Ghostbuster casting news as well as some of the recent comments from Mark Hamill and the rumors going around that Lucas was brought in to "fix" Luke.  Finally we take the time to remember Luke Perry who passed away at a much to young 52.

The Endzone: The AAF Special

That is right the NFL season may be over and Kevin and Kyle might still be in recovery from the most epic episode of The Endzone ever.  But emerging from the dog days of nothing going on in the NFL is the latest offseason professional football league the AAF!  Following in the footsteps of the USFL, The World League of Professional football, NFL Europe, the Arena League and the XF....wait that is coming back.  The AAF is looking to create there own place with some familiar faces on the sidelines and giving players who are looking for a chance to get back into the NFL a place to do that.  (The NFL is watching this league closely).  Join us as we talk about our thoughts on this new league and Kevin discusses his recent trip to watch the Birmingham Iron play with our friends Murf and Uncle Mosh from Raider's Fan Radio as well as a joint podcast crossover interview with members of the Birmingham City Council who were a very gracious host to that crew of Raiders fans (Kyle doesn't understand why).

Don't worry though we still have NFL news to talk about from Antonio Brown, the combine and so much more, and while they may not kick extra points in the AAF we will as always lead you to THE ENDZONE!

Culture Clash Movie Special: Alita: Battle Angel

Culture Clash Movie Special: Alita: Battle Angel

March 7, 2019
Culture Clash Movie Special: Alita: Battle Angel

Every now and then a movie comes along that we at the FPNet all start talking about and Alita: Battle Angel is one of those films that warrants one of those discussions.

Join FPNet Co- Founders Kyle Wagner and Kevin Reitzel along with FPNet newcomer Evelyn "Evil" Hamlett (who like Kyle is a huge anime fan) as they discuss their thoughts on this film that has people talking in both the positive and the negative.

In this special we will discuss the History of Battle Angel: Alita from it's start as a Manga, then to the OVA animation as well as the long history it took for James Cameron to get this film made.  We will also discuss the world of Alita and how true we felt it was to the source material.  We discuss our favorite moments of the movie, what some of our issues with it might have been, what we hope for if there are sequels made and what made this movie stand out.  Even though it seem to have quite the split in reactions to it, Battle Angel seems to have carved out a very interesting place in the current fandom.

Join us as we pull from the trash heap our special look at Alita: Battle Angel!

February 27, 2019

Welcome to DiscoVille where we discuss both Star Trek DISCOvery AND The OrVILLE here on the Fandom Podcast Network. Andy Sloane is a big Highlander fan, and his  knowledge of the Highlander movie filming locations is extensive. Andy is organizing another guided tour of filming locations of the Highlander TV show in the Vancouver, Canada area. Andy has done extensive research for this tour and is inviting several more lucky Highlander fans to join him and your Blood of Kings Highlander Podcast host Kevin Reitzel on this fantastic tour! The tour in Vancouver is scheduled for April 24th through May 1st, 2019. For more information, please contact Andy Sloane through Facebook directly, email at andysloane@hotmail.com, or through the Blood of Kings Facebook Group.

Here are some of the Highlander topics that Kevin discusses with Andy:

- The origin of Andy's Highlander Fandom

- Origin of Andy's Highlander Location Master hobby.

- Origin of Andy's Highlander Location tours.

- What special guests might be on the Highlander Location tour?

- Details on how can people find out more about the tour.

- Andy's 2017 Highlander Worldwide Convention memories, and favorite moments.

- Andy's other favorite Highlander movies, TV episodes, books etc.

- Andy's take on the future of Highlander and the new movie or possible TV series.

- What are Andy's OTHER favorite fandoms, movies and TV Shows.

Kevin would like to thank his special guest Andy Sloane for being on the Blood Of Kings Highlander Podcast, and for promoting his upcoming Vancouver / Seacouver Highlander Location Tour.

Culture Clash 117: Well at least we will be more entertaining than the Big Game

February 8, 2019

Yes the big game has passed and while we know you are still jazzing on the excitement of the halftime show (note sarcasm) Kevin and Kyle do their best to give you something a bit more stimulating this week.

The guys first cover some of the better (and there were not that many) commercials from the game (and someone wake Kevin up from his pizza coma!)

then a full discussion on the UNedited Hobbs and Shaw trailer, FX shaking up their comic book related shows and how Kit Harrington ended up on the couch for a few days at home.

While no Buy it, Stream it or Unsee it we do have a discussion about early predictions for a movie's success based of some negative predictions for the upcoming Alita: Battle Angel.

Finally we take a look at two more Cult Classic or Guilty Pleasure films in Sniper (Kevin's pick) and Twister (Kyle's Pick)

Let's do this thing!

Couch Potato Theater Presents: IRON EAGLE

Couch Potato Theater Presents: IRON EAGLE

February 7, 2019

Welcome to another Fantastic episode of Couch Potato Theater here on the Fandom Podcast Network. Couch Potato Theater is THE podcast on the FPN dedicated to covering all those hidden gems, cult classics and Guilty pleasures that are just so good, even though you might have the Criterion Collection or Deluxe Blu-ray set in your library just mere inches away from your entertainment center, you love what you are watching SO MUCH, you don't even care about getting off the couch. And THAT my friends is the DEFINITION of what our Show is all about.

In the year 1986 when it came to firefights in the air and who had the need for speed everyone was focused on flying into the Danger Zone and focusing on Top Gun.  However another film dealing with fighter jets and battles in the sky came out in 1986 as well developing it's own cult following and becoming a cable mainstay for many years, making this movie a perfect film for Couch Potato Theater! Join us on the Road of the Gypsy as we never say die and bring you the 1986 classic Iron Eagle!

Join Kyle Wagner, Amy Nelson, Kevin Reitzel and Hayley Stoddart as we hop on the couch for another round of COUCH POTATO THEATER......

Culture Clash 116: Are we a Cult Classic or Just a Guilty Pleasure

Culture Clash 116: Are we a Cult Classic or Just a Guilty Pleasure

February 1, 2019

This week edition of the Culture Clash Kevin opens the show explaining how he now sees dead people or maybe it was he saw them at Days of the Dead in Atlanta, where he also discusses finding out about the VHS Preservation Society.  In the news awards season continues as we see the very interesting and maybe even telling results of the Screen Actor's Guild awards, the fact that the new Ghostbusters film with the original cast looks to finally be legit, Hobbs and Shaw will be at the Super Bowl but no episode IX?? As well as the announcement that Christopher Nolan is up to something but what is it???

In Buy It, Stream It or Unsee It it is time to go heavy on the Netflix Originals as the guys take a look at The Punisher Season 2 (at least in part) and the new movie Polar and all the crazy involved in that.

Finally it is a new segment alert as Cult Classic or Guilty Pleasure come to the Clash.  This has been an ongoing movie discussion between Kevin and Kyle if a movie is a Cult Classic or a Guilty Pleasure, for this the first time doing this segment we have not one but two movies we discuss  Hackers (Kyle's Pick) and Super Mario Brothers (Kevin's Pick).  What do we decide on these films and what do you think?

It is time once again for the Culture Clash so LET'S DO THIS THING!

Type 40 Episode 20: A Look back at Season 11 with special guest JOHN MOSBY!

January 31, 2019

Welcome to TYPE 40: A Doctor Who Podcast here on the Fandom Podcast Network!

On this show, we will take an in-depth and closer look at this beloved television series, the spin-offs, the merchandising and the global fandom phenomenon that has shaped the landscape of science fiction for over five decades...and counting.

So step into our TARDIS and please enjoy our journey together here on TYPE 40!

In this episode of Type 40 Kyle is joined by Fandom Podcast Network Co-Founder Kevin Reitzel and Special Guest JOHN MOSBY, the Author of Fearful Symmetry: A Guide to All things Highlander and Contributor to the Echo Chamber website to discuss Season 11 of Doctor Who as a whole. Questions will be asked and thoughts will be given!  Plus we also take a moment to remember W. Morgan Sheppard as well.

However just when you think the episode is over Type 40 co-host Dan Hadley returns after using the Vortex Manipulator (unauthorized dirty time travel mind you) for a special mission, he joins Kyle to sum up his feelings on Season 11 and to discuss some of the things that will be coming up on Type 40 during the break before the release of season 12

Come join us on the Type 40 and remember if you have the time we have the space (It is much bigger on the inside)

DiscoVille Episode 037: The Orville S02 E04 - "Nothing Left on Earth Excepting Fishes"

In the latest episode of DiscoVille the crew sets forth on a Planetary Union mission and look at Season 02 Episode 04 of The Orville Nothing Left on Earth Excepting Fishes.

A follow up to The Orville season 1 episode Krill, this episode of The Orville brings back a character from that episode with a surprise twist.  Join Kevin, Amy, Hayley and Kyle as they explore all the aspects of this episode (and there are many) and we ask the important questions such as can Billy Joel inspire peace in the universe and do we now look at Raiders of the Lost Ark in a totally different way?

As the DiscoVille crew intercepts some subspace signals we discuss recent comments by Johnathan Frakes on what might be coming in the upcoming Picard show (Spoilers?)  and then thanks to one of our listeners we take a look at the 2009 Star Trek Countdown Comic which was a prequal story to J.J. Abrams 2009 Star Trek film and with a Plot written by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci.  This book might become offical canon if it not already is.

Blood of Kings 101: Interview with Highlander Heart’s GRANT KEMPSTER!

January 28, 2019
Blood of Kings 101: Interview with Highlander Heart's GRANT KEMPSTER!

Your Blood of Kings host Kevin Reitzel would like to welcome Highlander Heart's very own... GRANT KEMPSTER!
After sharing the stage with Grant in the "Online of Fire" panel at the Highlander Worldwide Convention in Los Angeles, back in October of 2017, Kevin finally got a chance to get Grant into the Blood of Kings virtual interview chair! Grant has been leading the charge of Highlander fandom since the late 90's when he took over the Highlander Fan Club. Grant has been helping to keep the Highlander fandom alive for so many years. So Kevin had to find out about these details, and what he's up to, and how he feels about the Highlander fandom now.

Here are some of the Highlander topics that Kevin discusses with Grant.

- Grant's Highlander fandom background.
- Grant's background with Highlander fan clubs and Highlander Heart.
- Grant's experience visiting the set of Highlander Endgame.

- His thoughts on Highlander The Source?
- Grant's involvement with the Highlander Big Finish Audio Books productions.
- Grant's Highlander Worldwide TV Show 25th Anniversary Convention memories.
- Grants favorite and least favorite Highlander movies & TV episodes.
- Grant's take on the future of Highlander and the new movie.
- And last, Kevin asks Grant about what are his OTHER favorite fandoms, movies and TV Shows.

Kevin would like to thank his special guest GRANT KEMPSTER for being on Blood of Kings and being the front runner of celebrating the Highlander fandom! You can find Grant on social media and Highlander Heart here:
