'Shadows of the Empire' (1996)
Topic: Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire is a 1996 multimedia project created by Lucasfilm. The idea was to create a story set between the films The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, and to explore all commercial possibilities of a full motion picture release without actually making a film. The venture was intended to reinvigorate interest in the franchise ahead of the theatrical Special Editions of the Star Wars trilogy released the following year.
The story introduces Rebel ally Dash Rendar, who aids the heroes in their attempt to liberate the frozen Han Solo from bounty hunter Boba Fett. Meanwhile, Darth Vader continues the search for his son, Luke Skywalker, whom crime lord Prince Xizor attempts to kill in his plot to replace Vader at the side of Emperor Palpatine.

The Book of Boba Fett trailer is out and it is a BANGER of a preview for the long-awaited continuation of the story of the most famous bounty hunter in the Star Wars galaxy! It includes awesome combat scenes, witty banter and stunning Twi'lek who is famous for dancing. This episode of What A Piece of Junk sees Nathan and Scott discussing the latest Star Wars Black series action figures announced by Hasbro including a new Luke Skywalker, Kir Kanos, Darth Maul as an apprentice and everybody's favorite green rabbit - JAXXON! Also on the discussion docket are new toys - I mean, COLLECTIBLES - as models are announced for the Star Wars Legion tabletop game. And there's some talk about the latest "from the vault" Star Wars offerings coming to Disney+ on April 2 with the streamer debut of Star Wars: Battle for Endor and Star Wars: Caravan of Courage alongside the original Ewoks cartoon from 1985 and the animated short segment of the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special with first appearance of Boba Fett! Strap in!
